Speaking of the outdoors, don't think for a moment that round accent tables are for indoor use only. While you don't want to use an indoor table outside, manufacturers have created outdoor versions of the accent table, so you can enjoy the same style of furnishings inside and out.
Finally, there's teak. Teak is the cleanest, most artistic looking of all the outdoor accent tables. It weathers extremely well and only needs an occasional oiling with a good teak oil that you can pick up at any marine supply shop.
Don't have the budget to buy accent tables right now? You can make your own in a pinch. For example, you can stack a few leather suitcases on top of one another make an accent table. Another option is to put a glass tabletop over a large clay flowerpot. Or if you have an old wood or metal stool that needs some work on top just take a piece of cloth and cover the stool with it, turning it into an instant accent table.
